Black-Owned Restaurants and Small Businesses Directory

Chicago’s Black Food Industry is one that is rooted in faith, community, and resilience. As a transplant to Chicago, I was welcomed with open arms into this community, and have been fortunate to build a platform showcasing and supporting this industry through my work. Now more than ever, I feel it is my duty to give back and help the same community that gave me my start.

This list will include smaller businesses and chefs that don’t have a brick and mortar, as well as executive chefs that are at the helm of locations that aren’t 100% Black Owned. I’ve changed up the format to make navigation easier for users! Check back often for updates!

This is the most current business information for each listing.

Businesses with the ** symbol also offer online services for shipping, curbside pick-up, and/or contactless delivery.

I’ve included an Interactive Map so you can see where each business is located across the Chicagoland Area!
